Voicemail, Thee Nodes, Wyld Life, Nervosas, Needles//Pins, Holy Cobras, World War 4, The Raging Nathans, Kloven Hoofs, The Isotopes, The Creeps, Club Saw, Mavericks, Decuf, Ottawa, June 21st 2013
Day three. Started out with Voicemail (weren’t they called Gary Voicemail last year?), followed by Thee Nodes. They had it all: The almost naked drummer, the crust punk bassist and the zombie mummy singer, hanging face down from the tent. Highly entertaining, now go write some good songs. When I saw Wyldlife wearing boots I expected to hate them, but they were surprisingly good angry rocknroll. Nervosas ruled, and even a broken string didn’t stop Needles//Pins from being crowd favorites. I better not comment on the Holy Cobras.
Venue change. World War 4 offered a welcome change of sound with their thrash metal, The Raging Nathans barely made it through a 30 minute set, Kloven Hoofs were really good, and loud, their amps going to 11 at least. The Isotopes entertained heavily at the ballgame and the Creeps closed the night. Good one.
